What are your qualifications?
-
I am a registered Pharmacist. I have been working with physicians, evaluating patients’ blood work, saliva tests, providing patient consultations and making recommendations on BHRT therapy for nine years. See “My education” for my education history in BHRT.
Do I need bloodwork to book a session with you?
-
No, you do not need blood work to book a session. If you have bloodwork that’s great, we can most certainly evaluate the results and it would be helpful. If you don’t have blood work there is plenty of beneficial information we can discuss related to your personal symptoms and individual needs. We will also discuss the suggested hormones to ask your provider for and review them on a follow-up session.
What is BHRT and why do you recommend it?
-
Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT). As we age our hormones gradually deplete. As our hormones deplete disease states increase and symptoms of peri-menopause and menopause begin. Bio-identical is replacing exactly what our body is missing, not a synthetic alternative.
Are Bio-identical hormones safe?

-
When monitored and guided by trained medical professionals, bioidentical hormone therapy is safe and can improve your health. Millions of men and women have used bioidentical hormone therapy to help them feel their best.
What are the risks if there’s any?
-
Like any medical treatment, hormones may cause unpleasant side effects if they are dosed inappropriately. That is why only trained medical professionals must provide hormone therapy. I specialize in bioidentical hormones; I will consider your goals and needs, which are crucial before beginning any treatment. When monitored and guided by trained medical professionals, bioidentical hormone therapy is safe and can improve your health.
How long until I see results?

-
Results and duration until you feel results vary per individual. Each bioidentical hormone therapy is customized per individual. Some patients will see relief from their symptoms within the first few weeks, while others may take longer.
Are lifestyle changes necessary before/during/or after treatment?

-
A healthy lifestyle is essential. I recommend taking supplements, exercising regularly, and eating a healthy diet while treating your underlying hormone deficiencies and imbalances. With these forces working together, you may begin to feel even better than you did twenty years ago!
Why should I get hormone consulting?
-
Empower yourself with the knowledge it takes to make the necessary decisions in your healthcare treatment. Understand what you are experiencing and why. Get the education you need to choose the path that is right for you.
